Getting to know NCT members
NCT
NCT is a group that is shaded by the SM entertainment agency. SM entertainment itself has many boy groups and girl groups, one of which is NCT. NCT stands for Neo Culture Technology. There is a meaning, according to Lee Sooman as CEO of SM Entertainment, the name represents the concept of NCT. The concept itself is unlimited members and all members come from different countries forming the concept of cross-culture.
NCT divided into several sub-groups, namely NCT 127, NCT Dream, Wayv, NCT U, NCT 2018, and NCT 2020. Because these members are not only from Korea, several sub-groups were formed and one of them is NCT 2020. Well, NCT 2020 itself gathered all the members from the sub-group NCT (127, Dream, Wayv, and NCT U) and added two new members to it.
Previously, there was NCT 2018 which was only covered by 18 members. Then, the WayV sub-group debuted so that NCT members increased from 18 to 21. And in 2020, SM again released all NCT members in one comeback and the same stage, called NCT 2020. With two additional members, the total now is 23 NCT members. That's a lot, huh?
So curious about all the members? For those who want to get acquainted with NCT 2020, don't be confused, okay? Because here I want to rank the 23 members, from the oldest member, Taeil, to the youngest member, Jisung. So what's the difference with NCT 2021? It's the same, the members are still the same as NCT 2020. Curious? So, stay tuned for NCTZen!
1. Taeil

The first and most mature member of NCT 2020 is Moon Taeil, nicknamed Taeil. He is the only member who was born in 1994, June 14 to be exact. If at the age of Korea, in 2022 Taeil will be 29 years old. Fyi, Korean age calculation is a little different.
Calculation: original age plus 1 year (age of pregnancy).
Even though Taeil is the oldest member in NCT 2020, he is the cutest in my opinion, even though he looks like the maknae. Because her body is so tiny! Even his height is quite different from the youngest maknae, Jisung. her face is also a baby face, doesn't look like a 94's kid! Oh yes, Taeil is loved by all NCT members because he is the oldest, so he is the most nurturing. Guess from the name, Johnny is not from Korea. Johnny Suh, or more familiarly called Johnny, is a member of NCT from America. He was born in Chicago on February 9, 1995. As one of the hyung line in the group, Johnny has a very strong fatherly character.
Just like Taeil, Johnny most likes to spoil NCT members who are younger than him. Investigate, he is very happy to join the NCT group because he feels he has a brother. Fyi, Johnny is the only child, so Johnny considers all NCT children to be his siblings. So, don't be surprised if Johnny's attitude is as affectionate as his brother/father.
I think he is really suitable to be considered the 'father' of NCT, apart from his gentle demeanor, Johnny also has a very father-able stature, tall, broad chest, muscular with abs, and of course handsome! Johnny is also included in the humorous group, and comedian. Whenever he gathers with other members, it is Johnny who stands out the most because of his endless jokes.
3. Taeyong

In other groups, usually the leader in the group is the oldest member, but not for NCT. In this group, Taeyong is the leader. He is not the oldest member but entered the ranks of the hyung line. Taeyong was born in the same year as Johnny, only a few months apart. Taeyong himself was born on July 1, 1995 in Seoul - South Korea.
As a leader, of course Taeyong has a nurturing mature nature. But sometimes, this Taeyong looks like a kid, often aegyo, acts cute, and likes pout! In my opinion, Taeyong is very cute and funny, especially when he eats, the way he chews is the cutest! Even so, he is the most trusted by all NCT members you know! He is always at the forefront when the NCT members are having a hard time. It's not easy to lead 22 people, but Taeyong can do it well.
4. Yuta

Prior to NCT 2020, Yuta was the only NCT member from Japan. Not only in NCT, but he's also the first Japanese to successfully debut in SM Entertainment, isn't that great? Well, Yuta is also one of the hyung line with the birth of October 26, 1995. He was born and raised in Osaka - Japan.
As a Japanese, Yuta has his own characteristics from the way he dresses to his hairstyle. Yuta has an anime-style long hair style that makes him have a very thick onii-chan aura. In addition, his clothes always look like a Japanese bad boy. His style is what makes Yuta so liked by NCTZen, unique and interesting!

5. Kun

Now let's move on from 95 liners, now move to a younger member, 1996. Kun is a member of NCT from China. He is active as a member of the WayV sub-group which is focused on China. At WayV itself, Kun has a responsibility as a leader. Yes, he is the oldest in Wayv and also serves as a leader in the Wayv sub-group. But if NCT is merged, the leader will still be Taeyong, right?
Well, for his profile, he has the full name Qian Kun who was born in Fujian on January 1, 1996. Kun joined SM Entertainment in 2015 along with Renjun and Winwin. The first time he appeared in public, Kun was announced as a member of NCT 2018. In fact, at that time Kun participated in a variety show called Weekly Idol. Even though he didn't get much attention at the time, Kun's popularity was increasing day by day thanks to his talent and attractive personality.
6. Doyoung

Only one month different from Kun, Doyoung is a complement to members born in 1996 who have many fans. Kim Doyoung, or who is often called Doyoung, was born in Guri, Gyeonggi - South Korea on February 1. For some reason, this member of 96 liners tends to have a calm but chatty personality. A little confusing huh? But if you weigh it, Doyoung is heavier to talkative.
So, in my opinion, Doyoung is actually not as cheeky as Haechan or Jungwoo. He tends to be quiet and doesn't act much, but he's talkative. I often comment on NCT members. The one who gets scolded by Doyoung the most, so who else if not Haechan. So, if you see Doyoung and Haechan fighting, you don't have to be weird! Because they are so hostile! Jung Jaehyun, or more often called Jaehyun this is one of the most boyfriend-able members, agree? WinWin is not his real name, it's just a stage name. His real name is Dong Si Cheng. He is the same age as Jaehyun, only a few months apart, to be exact, WinWin was born on October 28, 1997. WinWin is from China, like Kun, only in a different city. There are many interesting things about WinWin, one of which is the cute character.
In fact, he doesn't really like being asked to do aegyo. But, it can't be denied that WinWin does have a really cute face! Because of that, WinWin has become one of Yuta's favorite sisters, you know. They are both very close like siblings. Only with Yuta, WinWin wants to be told to aegyo you know!

Completing the youngest member in NCT, Kim Jungwoo entered the ranks. If the name "Kim Jungwoo" is too long, it's okay to just call it "Jungwoo" or "Uwu". Why "uwu"? Because this Jungwoo has a really uwu face aka the funny thing is not playing!
Uwu is a member of Korean nationality. He was born in Sanbo-dong, Gunpo - South Korea on February 19, 1998. Uniquely, Jungwoo is the only member of NCT who was born in 1998! When it comes to his character, Jungwoo is very unique. He is one of the mood makers in the group. His behavior is always ridiculous, often making the members - especially Doyoung - laugh out loud! This is suitable, for those of you who like the 4D character bias. He also sometimes conspires with Haechan to prank Doyoung, how funny isn't it?
11. Lucas

Lucas doesn't have a long name like Ten, but he does. If his stage name is Lucas. But if there are two Chinese names, namely Huang Xuxi and Wong Yuk-hei. As for his Korean name is Hwang Wook-hee. There's no need to remember all his names, it's okay, because he has a simple stage name, only Lucas. Handsome and tall.
Well, he is a young member of NCT, born on January 25, 1999. Although one of the youngest, Lucas has a tall, muscular physique, and doesn't even look like the youngest member. But of course he looks very very very handsome. Many even agree that this Lucas has a resemblance to Choi Minho - Shinee, agree?

In my opinion, Hendery has the most local face compared to other NCT 2020 members. Although it looks very local, but his face has a unique handsome aura. Even though he has a relatively small body, Renjun's guts are very big. Jeno is the same age as Renjun, so they both belong to the same sub-group, NCT Dream. Jeno was born on April 23, 2000, only one month apart from Renjun. Well, if Jeno is a native Korean member, because he was born in Incheon. For his personality is not as cool as Jungwoo or hendery. Some even said that Jeno was boring, but Jaemin rejected that statement. Because according to Jaemin, Jeno is really cool!
Jeno actually has a very awkward personality and is often called "Not funny" by other NCT members. Even so, he always tries to be funny in front of NCTZen, not dry but not quite right if he wants to be funny. Even though he has a no clock soul, Jeno has an adorable face and behavior, you know! 17. Haechan

Finally arrived at Haechan's order! Haechan is the maknae of NCT 127 for now, because it is possible that there will be additional new members in the NCT 127 sub-group, yes. Haechan is just a stage name, his real name is Lee Dong Hyuck. He was born on June 6, 2000. Actually Haechan has a hometown in Seoul, but he lived in Jeju at the age of 7-12 years.
What I like about Haechan is his voice. Yes, Haechan has a position as a vocal. His voice is very very very distinctive, very melodious. Once you hear NCT's song, what resonates is Haechan's voice. Apart from his unique voice, it turns out that Haechan has a mischievous personality. He really likes teasing hyung in NCT 127, but in NCT Dream, he's the one being bullied! Because he has a mischievous personality, Haechan has many enemies, including Doyoung, Renjun, Kun and many more. But as ignorant as Haechan is, he still always loses to Jaemin. It's funny, Haechan is afraid of Jaemin.

Back again with a member with a 4D personality, his name is Na Jaemin. Jaemin or Nana has a rather quirky personality. He likes to have brilliant but strange ideas. And most importantly, Jaemin has strange habits especially when it comes to food and drink. He really likes food / drink with a super pungent taste. He doesn't like all the processed strawberry foods.
For example, if he wants a sweet drink/food, the drink/food really has to be very sweet. Likewise with bitter drinks, he does not hesitate to drink americano with 8 shots! He even ate a bowl of celery along with ramen noodles. Because of this uniqueness, this idol who was born on August 13, 2000 actually has a lot of loyal fans!
Jaemin and Jeno have been friends since high school even when they sat on the same bench at the time. Jaemin is unpredictable, sometimes quiet, sometimes very active. Anyway, he's unique, Haechan just admits that Jaemin is unique.

His real name is Liu Yangyang, he was born on October 10, 2000 in Taiwan. Uniquely, Yangyang has lived in Germany, you know. In fact, according to some information, this Yangyang can speak German! Very cool, huh? Well, as for the sub-group, he initially only joined WayV. But now, Yangyang has entered NCT U's sub-groups, one of which is in the song "90's Love".
Yangyang previously never shared the stage with the NCT group, only the WayV group. Because of the NCT 2020 sub-group, Yangyang finally had the opportunity to meet all the NCT members.

Finally Yuta is not alone! There is a new NCT member from Japan, his name is Osaki Shotaro. There is not much information about Shotaro considering that he was recently introduced by SM Entertainment. Yup, he's a very young new member, born in Kanagawa - Japan on November 25, 2000.
Well, if you want to see some of the newest NCT reality shows lately, like NCT World 2.0, Shotaro is a super-super-super hot member! Without aegyo, he already has a cute charm that makes fans excited. Not only fans, other NCT members also sometimes love Shotaro! Oh yeah, when it was Shotaro's birthday, the NCT members made a sweet surprise for him!
Before joining SM entertainment, Shotaro was a tiktoker you know! His content contains all dances, he is very good at dancing!
21. Sungchan

For his real name is Jung Sung Chan and has a nickname Jinsung. Don't be confused with Jisung, okay! Fyi, Sungchan once attended the AWSAZ event with partner Kun. According to the members of NCT, Kun and Sungchan are two people who are awkward with each other.
22. Chenle

Chenle is not a new member, he is known as a member of NCT Dream who was born in Shanghai on November 22, 2001. Having the full name of Zhong Chen Le, it turns out that he is one of the richest NCT members, you know. He once proved this when he invited his group friend, Jisung, to his home in China. He even owns the family's private apartment building. Wow!
Jisung was fascinated by Chenle's super large and luxurious house. In fact, before arriving at his house, they were picked up by Chenle's luxury sports car!
